Pokemon of the day 5
today's Pokemon of the day is banette.
opinion: first of all, C-reepy! oh, i threw out one of my sisters dolls when i was f- oh no.
I'm coming for you>
video games: okay, so stat wise, it has pretty poor stats, except it's attack and SP.attack.
so this Pokemon of the day I'm not going to dig to deep into the stats today. as you guys know, my absolute pet peeve is what level it evolves at.
i mean that's basically the only reason i beat down on so many Pokemon like haxorus and... um... is haxorus the only one i beat down on for evolving so late? now i feel terrible. sorry buddy. but at least banette can join you in your suffering. shuppet evolves at level 37! arr that's actually not too bad. so bannete is a pretty decent Pokemon, but like every Pokemon, it has two good ability's and one bad one. the bad one is frisk. frisk allows you to see what the other Pokemon is holding. what the fridge biscuits? i mean, the only important item your going to find is a mega stone, and you can pretty much tell if that Pokemon is gonna have one because only certain Pokemon can have one. his other good ability is insomnia. it prevents him from going to sleep from moves like sing and self sleeping moves like rest, which means if you use the move rest you heal up without having to go to sleep, and with sing, the opponent would just waste a turn and then you one hit KO the Pokemon because banette's speed stat sucks. his third and final ability is his hidden ability, cursed body. this over all is a amazing ability, because the first move your opponent uses on you, cursed body makes it do nothing and that exact move the defending Pokemon used, cannot use that move for the rest of the battle. if i had a choice, i would get a banette with insomnia. i would get this Pokemon in the video games.
description:
according to all of the pokedex entry's,banette is a thrown away plush doll that became this Pokemon because of it's grudge with the trainer that disowned it. if it opens his mouth, all of his power disappears. it is a pure ghost type.

Pokemon special of the week 2

the second out of three i am doing is cyndaquil.
description:
in all of the pokedex entry's, cyndaquil's flames on his back are flared up when he feels threatened or scared. he also curls up into a ball when needed. cyndaquil is a pure fire type Pokemon. he originates from the johto region.
opinion:
this is my least favorite of the three johto starters. and it's just because it is the weakest of the three. i really have no beef with this Pokemon, because the first Pokemon game i played was Pokemon heart gold and soul silver and these Pokemon were really close to my heart. he has good ability's like Blaze, which boosts his fire type moves attack by fifty percent. and his hidden ability is flash fire, which is when this Pokemon gets hit with a fire type move, his fire type moves by fifty percent. cyndaquil evolves two levels earlier than most of the starter Pokemon, but cyndaquil is not the only one. all of the johto starters have this trait. i would use this Pokemon in the video games just for the swing of things. TCG: cyndaquil usually has one status move and one 10-20 damage move. i would not use this in TCG because it's not rare and it's not a very good to use either. thank you for the sprite art, the Pokemon database. and, if you did not see the last one, i sincerely hope you do that now.
Pokemon of the day 4
the fourth Pokemon of the day is Arcanine.
description: according to all of the pokedex entry's, Arcanine is a legendary Pokemon in china, and many bow to it's beauty apparently. i think i chose the wrong sprite for this post. here.
Arcanine is a pure fire type, and evolves from growlith with a fire stone. Arcanine.
opinion:
video games: Arcanines ability's are all good, but his weakest one is intimidate. now I'm not being picky, this is a good ability, where when your Pokemon with intimidate comes out to the Field of battle, every Pokemon on the Field (not including Arcanine.) gets a lower in defense. i know it can be considered a ''good'' ability, but it's one of those ability's i really hate. i mean, it's a waste of an ability. i would rather have a good ability like sheer force, commonly found on braviary, feraligatr, and conkelldurr. sheer force is an ability where if you have a status move like poison sting, this ability would increase that moves attack by thirty percent, but getting rid of the status affect. so you would be like, send out your feraligatr use the move ice punch, where you have a ten percent chance of the other Pokemon freezing. ten percent?!? oh, no you don't. boom! turn that 10 percent chance into thirty percent extra power! I'm a coming for you, chickorita. ha-ha-ha! okay, back to the good ability's. one of his ability's is flash fire. with this ability, if Arcanine gets attacked by a fire type move, Arcanine's fire type moves get a fifty percent boost. see, that's a good ability. his third and final ability he can learn is his hidden ability, justified. and yes, it is as good as it sounds. if Arcanine gets attacked by a dark type move, then all his moves get a increase in attack. i would definitely like this move more than intimidate. i would use this pokemon in the video game if i got a chance.
TCG: arcanine has one 20-50 damage move, and one 60-90 damage move. i have to say i wouldn't use him in the trading card game. it just takes up too much energy cards. thank you for the pictures, the Pokemon database.

Pokemon of the day 3
the third Pokemon of the day is haxorus
description:
haxorus is a pure dragon type. according to recent pokedex entry's, haxorus's razor sharp teeth (the red and black things poking out of his mouth.) are extremely powerfull. his teeth can cut steel girders, rocks, and other things. here that gurderr?
opinion:
video games: if i could i would definitely use this Pokemon, because it has the three main stats that i consider valuable. attack, defense, and speed. with attack at 147, speed at 97, and defense at ninety. and 1 of three of his ability's are great. his let down ability is unnerve. unnerve is an ability where the defending Pokemon gets nervous and cannot eat berries. i think that is a total waste of a ability. the only thing that that could possibly come in handy for is if there is a status affect of some kind, which haxorus cannot learn any status affect move, except with a TM or HM. the other ability (the good one.) is called rivalry. with this ability damage done to the same gender as your haxorus does more damage. and that's the good one.
i wont even mention the third one. i just... sigh. when Pokemon abilities go to the depths of hell. and one of the main reasons i don't want this guy on my team is because of the level he evolves into haxorus. level 48. that's thirteen levels higher than all the starter Pokemon to evolve.
TCG: the cards all have one move that is around fifty damage, and the second one is 90-120. i would definitely use this Pokemon in tcg. thank you the Pokemon database for the pictures. if you missed my last pokemon of the day card, click here.

Pokemon of the day 2
the Pokemon of the day is mega slowbro.
description:
the description's for slowbro and mega slowbro are one and the same, just so you know. the armor on this Pokemon is a shellder that bit a slowpoke's tail and formed a slowbro by balancing slowpoke and setting him to stand upright. mega slowbro is a water-psychic type.
opinion:
video games: i would definitely use this Pokemon. mega slowbro's defense is his best stat by far to any of his others. one hundred and eighty. that's right. that was not a type-o. a defense stat of 180, combined
with his ability, shell armor, witch block him from all critical attacks. critical attacks are when a random attack that you use will do extra damage. with critical hits being the only thing that could TOUCH mega slowbro, so with that iliminated, all you need to do is poison a pokemon, switch to mega slowbro, then he'll just tank out every single hit untill the pokemon dies. i would definitally use mega slowbro as an addition to my team. tcg: there has currently been no releasing of a mega slowbro trading card. thank you for the picture, the Pokemon database.

pokemon special of the week
this week for Pokemon special we are doing the Johto starters.
the first of the three i am doing is chikorita.
description:
chikorita in all of the pokedex entry's, her leaf is connected to the temperature and humidity and leaves behind a pleasant aroma that seems to calm Pokemon. it is a plain grass type.
opinion:
for the video games, with an average stat total of 318, her highest stat is Sp.defense and almost tied for her best stat is defense. i think this would be a good Pokemon to start out with, because all of its stats are around the same, giving equal benefit to all points. and it's ability that it starts out with, overgrow. overgrow is an ability that increases all grass types attacks by fifty percent. with a good Sp.defense, defense, and attack? it's a safe bet you will want to go with this Pokemon. but you will soon need a evolution. on the tcg side of things, the newer chikorita cards usually have two moves. one of them will be a ten damage move, and the other will be a twenty damage. but if you have the older card, it might just have a status move and a twenty to thirty damage move.
thank you for reading (if you did read it...) i will be posting the next one next week.
if you missed pokemon of the day, click here.
thanks for the picture, Pokemon database.
pokemon of the day
today's Pokemon of the day is meditite
description:
meditite is a psychic and fighting type. all his pokedex entry"s conclude that meditite is always in training. they all say that meditite is always meditating.
opinion:
i do not think this would be a good Pokemon in the TCG or the video games. for the tcg, meditite usually only has one ten to twenty damage move, although there are some that have two moves, and a low HP of 40 to 60. as for video games, although it's good speed stat for a basic Pokemon of 60, speed really doesn't matter if you don't have good defense or attack. the only way i would consider getting this Pokemon is in omega ruby and alpha Sapphire for when it finally evolves into a medicham, mega evolve it into mega medicham.
credits:
thanks for reading this. (if you did read it) this is my first Pokemon fact of the day, and i hoped you enjoyed it. thanks, the pokemon database.
